dark raven, in response to what you said ages ago: Alcohol can also do harm to others if you drink it (prayer won't in itself) and is also physically harmful eventually (which prayer isn't). Psychological benefits with no physical side effects =/= alcohol.

Okay dark raven, it's really not something you can argue because people are always going to have their own opinions, you cannot force people to believe what you believe nor convince them because in the end it will not convince them. For those who do believe prayer is a way to talk to the lord and ask him for what you want done in your life rather it be mercy or the forgiveness of your sins, or something you want special to happen to you because he surely will not fail you your heart is in the right place.

Lol i love that how no one has still yet come up with a counter argument for why or how it does help other then "psychological comfort" if thats the best you can do then people could argue drinking alcohol helps because it gives you "psychological comfort" too.
